First off, I gotta say I'm an idiot. I'm going on 24 hours of being awake now because somethings didn't work out like I wanted them too.
I do own a Wii however, so it was not a lost cause.
I arrived in line at Best Buy for 1:30am because I received a call from a friend letting me known people had already started lining up and there were a few there. Well not knowing the exact number and so we went. Brought the camping chairs, food and warm clothes. It was the coldest at 4am, but I can safely say all of my apendiges are working.
Points during the night I losing touch with reality because of the cold, lack of movement and ability to eat food. Then it started to snow, I wasn't able to record anything because I didn't have time to charge the battery and my phone was about to die. I'd rather be able to make phone calls then record some video. They were handing out tickets. at 6am. It turned out I was 36th in line. Some guy got up and took down everyones name to make sure no one brought in 12 friends at the front of the line. All 81 were reserved by 6:10am.
Then we went to Tim Hortons for breakfast and to warm up, the breakfast food sucks there and my stomach is turning over now because of it. We arrived back at the store around 7am and wait for the 8am store open. They herded us in 12 at time. They didn't have any of the nun chuck attaachments left so I just picked up an extra controller, Zelda, Red Stell and the Wii.
Well, I got out of Best Buy at 8:30 and on the Road by 8:34am. I started writing this at 9:30 and it's taken me 29 minutes to get this to point because work is getting the way. I've been awake since 9:30am on Saturday and didn't get a chance to sleep. And now I am currently working on my 10hr and 30min shift which started at 8:30am and ends at 7pm. It should be a fun day, I can feel the sleep calling.
